🧵 How Much Fabric Do I Need?
We typically need one adult-sized shirt (such as a men’s large button-up or similar) per bear. Blankets, uniforms, baby clothes or other garments can also be used—we just ask that the total fabric equals about that same amount. If you are sending baby onsies or sleepers, we can easily use eight and if needed we can supplement coordinating fabrics for larger pieces, after your approval of course.Â

It is very important you print and send the following forms with your order, they will also be sent via email following your order. Access forms here.
⏳ Turnaround Time
Once your fabrics arrive we will notify you they were safely received. We will also reach out with any questions we may have at that time. Our typical turnaround time is typically 4 weeks, but this may vary slightly during busy seasons. We’ll always keep you updated!
✔️ What Types of Fabric Can Be Used?
We work with most clothing and fabric types, including:
- Cotton or flannel shirts
- Baby clothing
- Uniforms
- Blankets & quilts
- Denim
- Men's ties
- Knit fabrics (no loose weave sweaters please)
Please avoid extremely thin, stretchy, or loose weave items. Large printed logos or stiff patches may be difficult to use due to the bear's curved, small pattern pieces. If you have concerns of what can or cannot be used please email us with photos at thememorybearcompany@gmail.com.Â
